Reading mileage on removed cluster?

Long story short, I have a chance to purchase an 06 duramax crew cab short bed chassis, missing only transfer case, with the body(has been rolled and removed). My question is this, does anyone know how/what pins to jump to read mileage on the cluster with it removed from the truck? I'd like to verify mileage before I purchase it and plan my build. Thanks in advance!

Re: Reading mileage on removed cluster?

So I believe I found a way after stumbling onto a cluster pinout diagram. If I apply voltage to B9 and B11, while grounding B12, that would simulate a key on engine off, correct?
