They have the same profile as the piece they bolt to. If you are looking to make your own it should be pretty easy to take the measurements you need.

I relize this, but if someone allready has it drawn up I can just have it burned here at work and save me some time.

Don't ya think the proper thing to do if you're gonna make it yourself is at least do your own design legwork and not copy a board vendor's product?

Seriously? It's a bag bracket that several people make. It's not a vendor specific part. It not like I'm trying to get some one to get me the plate files for a dropmember....

If no one has it drawn up I'll go ahead and draw it and then post it up. I'm sure several people on this forum have access to a lazer, waterjet, ect and could make the part themselves with scrap and save themselves some coin.

+ another $10-15 to ship. I'm not saying boycott the vendors on this site by any means. Hell I've bought a complete dropmember suspension from porterbuilt and I've got a chassis with the front and rear suicidedoors kits on it for my current build.

It's just that this is a basic part that anyone that has access to the equiptment could make on the cheap. So why not?

Re: front upper bag mount drawing?

Shane I don't get it it seems like we get into this ( and no hard feelings about it ) sometimes its not the $35 or $$ at all...other times it is..that being said I get a kick out of building something in my tiny little shop with my half Azzed tools that rivals what others are producing and at faction of the cost and with the pride that I did it myself.....

theres alot of info here on the board ..and other boards..that have allowed me to put a c notch in my frame, slam my front suspention to within 2" of dragging, tub and prostreet the rear, getting ready to do a 6 lug disc convertion (stay tuned) and cram a 500 caddy under the hood for pennies on the dollar...of writting a check to buy shiney new parts from the vendors...not that I don't want them to stop building them or not make any $$ but some of use are just more resorceful...

M6Z if you look though my build you will see the measurements to cup you own lower control arms I highly recomend doing it since you seem to have the tools..also If you could tag my build with that drawing or a link to it I think that others will find it useful

thanx

Do you mean free access to CNC laser cut or waterjet? Because if not, its cheaper to just buy them. If you are just doing one set, the initial setup charge to laser cut/waterjet will co$t you.

Yes, free access through work. I agree it would be cheaper to just buy them If you had to pay for a setup charge.

you mean as opposed to finding a piece of steel chasing it down, making a template, cutting it out drilling it correctly painting it or making a phone call???

someone has a signture and it says

I would rather do it myself and spend the extra $500

Re: front upper bag mount drawing?

It must have taken you longer to keep replying to this thread than to take the front wheel off and make a template, trust me, you will feel better for doing it, i asked the same question as i live in the UK and did not want to pay the postage and import duty, its not about copying some elses idea,

Make your own then take the measurements for other people in the future who ask the same question that you have.

Good luck.
