250 intake and exhaust manifolds
Can they be milled? I’m getting leaks on both. After replacing the gasket, they continue to do the same.

Re: 250 intake and exhaust manifolds
Did you separate them or at least loosen them to install them?

I had to take out of them off to get to the gasket. It’s not an integral head.

Separate them then.

Re: 250 intake and exhaust manifolds
Some years ago mine was leaking and couldn't keep a gasket on them (exhaust manifold was a new one). I asked the machine shop and they said bring the intake and exhaust bolted together. Not sure how they machined it but it hasn't leaked since.

Re: 250 intake and exhaust manifolds
Both of mine got milled, and needed it, during the rebuild.
