No receptin

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. The radio is stock and so is the antanna. For the last couple of months, I can no longer pick up any radio stations, both AM and FM. I also have a 2007 1500 Silverado. This truck will recieve all the stations and when parked next to each other when my 2004 wont. Has anyone else had this problem? Any sugestions? Thank you very much.

Re: No receptin

My guess....The antenna hook-up may have come disconnected from the radio.

Re: No receptin

On the 88-98 trucks there is an antenna conection in the passenger side inner fender close to the firewall. I've found that's where they commonly go bad due to moisture. Most of the time you can pull it apart and clean up with a scotchbrite pad.
