1992 Chevy K1500 Silverado manual windows /door locks to power windows conversion
I have a 1992 Chevy Silverado K1500 4x4.
It is a factory manual crank and manual door lock truck and I want to convert it to factory correct power windows and power door locks. Question: 1. Will my existing under dash wiring harness have factory plug wiring connections for door wiring harness? Or are the factory dash wiring harnesses different manual window door locks to power windows /door lock wiring harness? 2.If I have complete power window and power door locks system from a donor 1992 door, can all of it be installed including wiring harness with no issues? Any insight to those that have done this conversion or have parted out trucks are appreciated |

I would tend to think the support wiring is there. Most harnesses today are set up that way. Not positive, but hopefully the wiser than me will chime in for ya.

Re: 1992 Chevy K1500 Silverado manual windows /door locks to power windows conversion
Thanks Bill,I am hoping crank window wiring harness trucks come with same wiring harness as a power window truck?
Hoping that some one who has had a dash out, could chime in if this is true? |
