Trim on Fenders

I'm trying to figure out what I have, i know that's kinda hard on these old trucks but thought someone could give me some wisdom. The Vin is 5ESL2072 and I know its a 47' 9' bed 1 ton, but it has fenders with a trim on it that I have only seen on panel trucks.
thanks for any advice.

I am sure that I personally haven't seen trim like that on a truck, Maybe off of a car fender??

Re: Trim on Fenders

Someone went to the dealer and got some suburban trim and put it on the truck, or maybe the dealer decided to add it. Any on the back fenders?

Re: Trim on Fenders

That's what I was thinking, nothing on the back fenders just on the front two. I've seen the trim on a few trucks but they probably took it off the suburbans too. thanks

Re: Trim on Fenders

It looks like it was well equipped. It has a chrome grill, bumper, and visor so could have come with the fender trim too. It would be interesting to know the history on the truck.

Re: Trim on Fenders

That fender trim is part of the De Luxe package that as far as I have ever read was only on panel trucks.. Its now reproduced if you like it enough to spend around $1800 a full set..
