I need help again with my 1959 Apache pickup!

Guys, I need help again! What truck repair (to my 1959 Apache pickup) would need 2 guys to complete? I am writing a scene where my older character Eddie is mentoring a younger man while they work on the truck. Any suggestions?

there are a lot of things you can do by your self. but if he is teaching something there would be a reason for the help. Bleeding brakes is easier with two people.

Bleeding brakes is a great example. It's actually one of the more difficult jobs to do alone.

Clutch replacement is another one. Plenty of folks have stories of starting a clutch replacement as a youngster with a quote from an elder such as "Well, you burned it out so you get to fix it."

Just out of curiousity, what decade would this be happening in, roughly?

Is replacing a clutch something you would do in a day?

Yes, clutch replacement would be done in a day.

And a repair doesn't need to be a two person job to have two people working on it. For example, maybe they are rebuilding the carburetor with the mentor doing the teaching / supervising of the rebuild and adjustments.
