ok so this truck has been for sale locally for a while and I finally stopped to check it out. the guy who showed it to me wasn't the owner and forgot the exact year but I figure early 80s. its a k30 with dana 60 front and rear I would have thought a 14 bolt rear. supposedly it had a cab swap years ago because its an ac cab but no ac on motor floors and rockers were replaced and truck was repainted years ago all in all solid with a little rust here and there. now to the good part. brand new gm 260hp 350 crate motor rebuilt turbo 400 twin tanks with new passenger tank recored oversized diesel radiator redone seat really clean frame with no rust at all that I can see and it comes with a fully operational plow. I would be buying this as a flip and know there probably isn't much money to make but who knows I don't do a lot with the square bodys but I know k30s are popular. he wants 5500 firm with the plow. all in all a presentable truck but looks like an old truck with dull ish paint and scratches all around.

How much rust is "here and there"?

Are there papers supporting the new engine and rebuilt trans?

What condition is the interior? Any power options?

Up here in the rust belt, that's a $4500+ truck. That's my opinion. He's not too far out of line.

It's worth that for a plow truck. W/o a plow I'd pay less. It already has rusy but looks decent, so a nice classic gitter done plow truck to have for sure. If it was rust free I'd take the plow off and never use it..

Doesnt seem like a bad price. K30's are worth more than the other trucks. The price doesn't seem high to me. Feels like all the K30s are the long cabs, I actually really like the looks of the short cab with the dual wheels, looks really well proportioned.

I sold one very similar to that last January for 4 grand. FYI it should have a DANA 70 rear not a 60. 60 in the front. For our area that's a fair price so $5500 with a plow isn't too far out of line. As for flipping, don't think you're going to get more than $5500.00 as it sits. Not so common but not so desireable to every body.
