Power Steering Pump Bracket, 88 R10 Suburban

The power steering pump bracket broke on my Suburban while I was about 100 miles from home. Fun times. Anyways, I cannot find this bracket anywhere, junkyard, auto parts, dealers (long discontinued). Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. This is the front bracket that the pump bolts to. I know they sell universal brackets on sites like Jegs and Summit Racing, but those brackets look completely different and I am weary. Does anyone have any experience with those, or have access to a good junkyard that might have this bracket? Been about a month, and I cannot get the bracket.

This work?

Crap, that was the Jegs link...

Ok, I have a pump with bracket in the spare pile, but IIRC it's off an older truck. You can take a look and see but I'm pretty sure it's different.

These guys are saying they have 1 in stock RESERVOIR MOUNT BRACKET - GM (14031106) http://oemcats.com/oem-parts/14031106.html

Take a look at this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-1986-Ch...1UsrvI&vxp=mtr

Here's one off an 87 with 5.7 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Chevrol...NUNIAm&vxp=mtr

Thanks for doing all that research for me. I actually came across all the same stuff, except for that last eBay link! I immediately ordered from oemcats, who then emailed me a few days later cancelling the order saying its discontinued. The first eBay link is not the right one, but the 2nd link is exactly the part I needed. $39.95 is pretty pricey. However, I got a pump with the bracket today at a junkyard about 100 miles away for $32, so I should be good now. Thanks for going out of the way for me.

Appreciate your reply man. I actually bought a pump with brackets on eBay initially from an '81 pickup, and it looked similar but wasn't right. Cost me $85 unfortunately but I was desperate. I ended up getting a pump today with the right bracket from a junkyard about 100 miles away for $32. Your bracket I think is different too although its hard to tell. I'll tell you those two-groove pulleys are also hard to come by. This is the right bracket:

However, I got a pump with the front bracket today. Thanks for replying.

Happy to try and help. The older these trucks get the harder to source affordable parts, and the more important it becomes to help one another out. Glad you found one for a good price, sounded like you were getting pretty frustrated. Been there - done that.
