Cheap Project (No affiliation)

Not mine, but looks like a fair deal if someone is willing to travel.

$1000 Canadian is about $700 USD.

1960 GMC 930 factory extra long stepside box (fairly rare) 292 4 on the floor.
$1000
Runs and drives but water pump has slow leak. Has PTO with hoist. Rusty in all the usual places but still very solid and driveable. Great for summer yard work, have never tried the heater so don't know if you could brave the winter in it.

it won't have a 292 but should be a 235. Canadian GMC's didn't have the V6 engine in them

Re: Cheap Project (No affiliation)

First a 292 is NOT a V6 second 292 did not exist in 1960 BUT it could have been changed out a lot can happen in 56 years .. seller never said it was V6 or that the 292 is the original engine.... Obviously things have been changed as I doubt it came from the factory with a hoist under the bed

Re: Cheap Project (No affiliation)

well it wouldn't have been a v6 in Canada and it is a 235 as I talked to him. somebody as intelligent as you would know what the nbrs designated.
it could have been ordered with a hoist just as one would order a Napco msetup for it.
my 65 1 ton was ordered with a flat deck and a hoist so why couldn't a 9' box be ordered with a hoist
American 1960 production light duty trucks only came with the V6(305 cu.")
