Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Is the badge on the dash pad separate from the wood grain piece?

Looks like it is. Maybe I can swap out all 3 pieces.

Yes it is. But I am reusing that piece on the dash. I have found a few on eBay and on here for sale.

But from reading on here and other sites seems that this interior wood pattern is the hardest to find.

Yes I did, I'm wondering how the ride on them is? What's the height from the ground to your fender lip?

They ride just fine IMO. But I have the PB shock relocator and monotube shocks. Which part of the fender lip. But the correct way is from center of wheel to lip unless you want a different area on fender lip. Just let me know I will get you a measurement.

I send my buddy Robert aka SteppinWolf on here a pic he asked me about my oil pan. This is a Moroso 7qrt oil pan it sits just a little bit above the front crossmember. So no issues with oil pan hitting.

This one just keeps getting better and better - really nice work and tastefully built truck.

Looking forward to seeing some more 'photo shoot' style pics of the entire truck. Some really nice pics earlier in the thread before a lot of the recent mods.

Job well done with this beauty!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

I did find one thing that is rubbing. The windshield washer reservoir. When I turn the wheel to the right and the body rolls it is rubbing the bottom of it. I need to relocate it or find a smaller one if possible. Hell I have never even used it before.

And that my friend is why I'm changing my cam! Trying to get my torque up higher in the curve. I think i was pushing 600+ ft lb at 3500 rpm.

Man it rides great nice and tight hugs the road. I can tell and feel it is lower. You know how it is you can feel the difference when you first drive it a few times but after that it becomes normal. Now tomorrow I will put the new front monos on and see how they do. Just having that extra travel makes me feel a little better. And I like the KYB Gas A Just shocks not had any issue with them. Better than soft azz twin tube shocks.
