E brake cable question

Was wondering if anybody could tell me or had pictures of how this piece attaches? My drives side drum wont go over the new shoes because the cable isn't releasing all the way and i noticed this was just loose. Thanks guys.

Re: E brake cable question

If your cable is not releasing all the way there are adjusters on the cable so set the play/tension. In the picture on the thread that would be the #7 location. If you loosen the nuts there this will give the cable some slack. On my truck it is a little different and there is a single nut adjuster just below the drivers door.
