TH400 questions

I am swapping my 68 body onto a 72 frame. The 68 has a 2wd TH400 trans. Is adding a 205 T-case as simple as finding a 32 spline 205 with the TH400 adapter? Or will I need a different output shaft and tail housing?

searching always help out, but yes... if you stick with the figure 8 style 205 pattern and matching adapter
