Under hood decals where do thet go?

Dear forum members, my name is mark i'm rebuilding a 1968 gmc fleetside long box, frame off restoration. This is my first one it's been alot of fun so far learning alot. Question, where do the informational decals go? Lmc has a page full of these decals but i need to know exactly where they go. I knew you would want some pictures so here they are. THANKS MARK.

I'd start searching for survivor photos. There are a number of low, low mileage trucks that have been found on these forums over the years, got to be a lot of underhood photos.

As for shock and brakeline and those stickers, not sure of a reference. My assembly manual index only mentions the glovebox sticker.

You could always be the first to compile such a list, I'm sure lots would find it handy!

As a random anecdote, at Barrett Jackson last week I always got a chuckle out of the highly restored vehicles that had perfect sticker alignment - like jacking instructions and posi warning under the trunk lid. In real life they were just slapped on, but nowadays they're all laser aligned.

For my part I too will be laser-aligning my decals :-)

I posted a pic on page 3 of that thread that shows the "Keep Your GM Truck All GM" sticker on the side of the air cleaner.

I don't have any pics of it at the moment, but my 72 still has the original emissions/tune-up sticker on the driver side inner fender well. And I believe the cooling system info sticker goes on the top edge of the radiator support ... seems like I remember having a radiator support around here somewhere that still has the remains of one of those stickers ... I'll see if I can find it to get a pic.
