Soon. We got moved in. I am still organizing things at the new place. I have my shop at home started and when the weather breaks I have a lot of yard work to do so it will be a while yet before I get to do a lot on the trucks.

The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless.

Yeah, I will probably move the truck a little closer to the parts.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

It's good to hear you are in the new place now. I've been interested in how it was going all along the way but only asked some in the beginning. I figured I'd let you tell us what you wanted as it went. I know you had some waiting for the framer, for one, and possibly other slowdowns. Didn't want to annoy.

I'm sure it will be a busy spring for you. Got to get that place right on the outside now for mamma, and just to be done so you can move on. Then there's the shop. Not just building it, outfitting it and the yard work on that. I always say, "It's good to keep your hands full". I think you agree

Re: My Facetruck thread.

figured I'd knock the dust off Facetruck and maybe summon Larry to check in

needed a weed mower for the back yard, didn't really want to contaminate the front yard with weed seed and all

poked around online and whoa! everything is $250 and up

clicked around a little more and noticed this - clearance price...... $99

2021 – Assembly Bill 1346 (Berman, Marc), Small Off-Road Engines (Chaptered)

Summary

Requires CARB, by July 1, 2022, consistent with federal law, to adopt cost-effective and technologically feasible regulations to prohibit engine exhaust and evaporative emissions from new small off-road engines, as defined by CARB. Such regulations must apply to engines produced on or after January 1, 2024, or as soon as CARB determines is feasible, whichever is later. The bill requires CARB to identify and, to the extent feasible, make available funding for commercial rebate or similar incentive funding as part of any updates to existing applicable funding program guidelines for local air districts to implement, to support the transition to zero-emission small off-road equipment operations.

however CARB is waaay to busy mismanaging the ACF rules.. multiple testing rollout delays, poor communication, lack of clear instruction, etc.

Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation Summary
Accelerating Zero-Emission Truck Markets

at least this part is working - CTC registration fee collection for NST compliance will be strictly enforced in 2023

Clean Truck Check (HD I/M)

By December 31, 2023, vehicle owners need to complete reporting of their vehicles in the Clean Truck Check database and pay a $30 per vehicle 2023 annual compliance fee. CARB estimates that periodic testing requirements will start in July 2024.

that July 2024 date has already been pushed to January 2025
