Re: 99 Tahoe 2nd row seats

Not too hard to put them in, just a little time consuming. I've seen several different ways - I wanted to maximize rear leg room and minimize the number of new holes to drill as well as keep the ability of the seats to fold forward, so made some adapters for the front and rear mounts. Seems to work fine, probably a little less headroom this way than stock. See this thread from a year ago for some pics of mine and others: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=2846083

Re: 99 Tahoe 2nd row seats

Thank you again for the help but found some 2001 seat set out of a Silverardo for $200 so will use those and may use it for a 3rd row or just sell it for the $100 I paid for it not sure yet.

The newer seats are nice as well! Main thing that seems to be discussed is if these seats have integrated seat belts, make sure the seat mounting to the truck is strong and reinforced. Best of luck with your project!
