Anyone run LT235/85r16 tires?

My 2006 2500HD 4x4 crewcab still has its original Bridgestone LT245/65r16 tires.

I'm thinking of going to LT235/85r16's in BF Goodrich K02 or something similar.

Anyone running this size?

dont forget to reprogram the ecm with the correct new tire size so the shift points stay where they should and your fuel mileage doesnt get screwed up.

i saw a set of this size used the other day but stayed with the original size for simplicity sake.

Isn't that the size ford used on their super dutys? Skinny and taller, should be good for mud. I would strear clear of the ko2 though.

Re: Anyone run LT235/85r16 tires?

I run LT255/85r16e on my 2005 2500HD Duramax.
BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2. I have put about 30k on them.
They look great and slowed down the RPM a bit. I did use a tuner to correct the speedometer to match my GPS speed. I did pick up about 1.5 mpg over the stock size tires.
