Swapping 1998 Tailgate Handle to a locking version

I have just installed a BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau cover on my 1998 Extended Cab Silverado.

I want to swap out the tailgate handle for a locking version. Other than getting a tailgate handle with the lock cylinder and most likely a new bezel, are there any other internal parts needed?

Or is the locking feature integrated into the new latch assembly and I simply bolt it in and connect the clips to the latch rods?
