Goodwrench 350

Hello fellas. Has anyone used the goodwrench 350 in their rigs? I'm looking for a good motor without breaking the bank. I figured u can't go wrong with a new motor for under 1500. Not planning to race it or anything. I'm just looking for a nice sounding cruiser. Thanks

Have one in a '79 K5 Blazer. Hasn't ran in years but still fired up. Well worth the price

Re: Goodwrench 350

Mine leaks out the rear main seal and the front timing cover chain only has 4000 miles on it. Great otherwise...

Re: Goodwrench 350

Nothing wrong with that engine, but as I recall don't believe the warranty part. See the exclusions.

3-Year/100,000-Mile Warranty
Some exclusions may apply

Its old time everything, the heads aren't vortech, or anything recent, compression is low, pistons may be dished, and the cam conservative.

You might look into the local engine rebuilder prices/feature as well if you aren't married to new.

Re: Goodwrench 350

Thank u guys. The motor in my blazer is original. It might be worth looking into how to much to rebuild. It runs and drives fine. But I know it could use a lil rejuvenation
