What is this car worth in USA Dollars ?

A delapidated old Aston Martin found in the woods that had been there for 40 years is expected to sell for £350,000 at the auction.

It was left exposed to the elements by it's owners home in Massachusette ,USA

A bit more than $484K USD per an online conversion calculator.

Hard to believe it, but I often fail to see the big picture.....

May be this is the reason

THE iconic Aston Martin DB4 GT has been brought back to life - with a special run of just 25 models.

The racer from the 1960s was the predecessor to the legendary DB5 made famous by James Bond.

With the Dow closing over 26,000 we're going to see a huge upswing in classics values

They'll probably get that price. Those Aston Martin's go for BIG bucks. I'd hate to see the price tag on the restoration though.

It's hard to believe someone would let such a valuable car just sit out like that. At least just build a shed or something. Anything.

It just has to be someone who does not have a clue about the cars worth. maybe the owner died some years ago and he was the only one who knew it was 1 of 25 built and then again maybe he bought it and never knew it either

I wonder what the person paid for it as it is in the photo?

Re: What is this car worth in USA Dollars ?

Aston Martins have been a valuable collector car since the '70s. Anyone with one in their yards knew that. Hard to know what kind of thinking went into never doing anything about at least laying something over the top of it, like sheet metal roofing

Re: What is this car worth in USA Dollars ?

I have researched and found no where any evidence the guy is alive today ..or when he died if he did.. and so it could of been that he died 40 years ago and therefore some one rather than him left the car to rot in the woods..

Any one who had a car delivered from England to America seems to me they would not just park it with a sound mind and let it rot ..

This story really catches my eye and I wish I knew what is not told to know the rest of the story .

You think that's hard to believe, I've seen quite a few times people doing the same thing to an old Chevy truck!
