How do I figure out my paint code?

I want to repaint my '83 K10. Its a medium blue color. I cant find a paint code on it anywhere on the door jamb or inside the glovebox. How many different colors of blue did these come with in '83??? I want the original color so I dont have to paint the door jambs or inside of the cab. Thanks, Nik

Re: How do I figure out my paint code?

I think that I can make out a "22" on my glove box door. I tried to look this up and it seems that is a "light blue". That would make sense. I just dont want to have a gallon of paint mixed up if its not the right color. thanks, nik

Re: How do I figure out my paint code?

If you are wanting it to match the inside of the truck and jambs you could drive it to your local paint supplier and have them do a color match using their color match camera. I own a water transfer printing business and this is how I do almost all of my color match work even if I do have a paint code and it matches really good.
