intermediate gauge plate

does anyone know if the thin black plate the gauges are behind are repopped .The previous owner hacked it up for aftermarket rpm gauge .

Or just buy a complete used cluster on E#$y, and have extra gauges and bezel as well.
If you're patient you can get a deal, I've seen quite a few sell for $30.00 or so.
My experience with Aspen, is they are high priced, and shipping is high, they know if you are calling them, you really need the part.
