Good way to spend a day off...

Had a day off Friday and snuck off and picked this one up. 67 with a later model 350, 700R4 transmission. Needs some of what they all need but the previous owner had a new windshield installed and rebuilt the door window regulators. Yes it is a Chevrolet but has a GMC tailgate.... I scold people I care about for using the word HATE,, so let me say I strongly and thoroughly detest those wheels.

Nice looking truck. Could you post the part number off of the radiator hose. I need a hose like that. Looks like we have the same engine.

I just went out and looked. If I am not mistaken, those are just batch numbers, not actual part #. I think it is just a hose for a 92 Chevy truck with a 350. Looks like one i used to sell all the time back in the 90's and early 2000's. Thanks, Fred.

Not a bad looking truck! The wheels could be worse if the black part was red....

Ive never seen those wheels in six lug. I agree with your strong dislike of them! Id prefer a set of rally or some 15x8 steelies with stock caps.

We were laughing about that here at the shop. We used to see lots of these used at the swap meets with the inners painted body colors,, nasty...

Re: Good way to spend a day off...

Thanks guys. I am hoping to get it unloaded today, weather and time permitting. I had a local guy that buys a lot of the trucks we find come by yesterday and look it over, but I have not decided what to do with it yet.

Re: Good way to spend a day off...

My son is coming up this weekend and we are going to see what all we can do to improve the looks and function of it. Budget is $400.00 and time spent is going to be all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Wish us luck.
