Np205/350TH Transfer Question

I needed to remove my transfer case.

to fix the pivot shifter bolt that broke.

So I'm getting ready to reinstall.

So my question is, does the transfer case have is own lubricant as in do I remove a plug like a diff. cover and pour in fluid or does it get/use transmission fluid from the transmission?

Am I asking the right question?
