Little help here

Started a steering wheel refurb and while in there I decided to change the broken Red hazard switch. After installing I attach the 2 harnesses and horn goes off. I unplug horn, but relay is still energized of course. Would this be normal? What do I need to check? I have not installed the wheel, this is as far as I have gotten with the re-assembly.

I just read a thread about something similar after a turn signal install I think. Look for something in the assembly shorting out. I'll try to search for the post.

thanks. Been reading some older posts and I found out the black wire may be the culprit. I will pull apart to see if ir ot other wires are grounding against the metal column. I did have an issue with the harness...may have pinched a wire.
