Backspacing and tire sizes?

Long time member on the 67-72 side and I am considering a square body. 79, Bonanza 86k original miles. Nice straight old truck Im just looking to drop it and drive it to shows or whatever.

What setup do you guys run for 20s and a 5/7 ish static drop? Are all the rear housings in the squares the same length ? I've dropped a bunch of trucks but never a square body. Do you guys run into Chevy lean with big static drops?

Thanks

Re: Backspacing and tire sizes?

This is what I'm running on mine, with a 5/6 drop.

Front: 20x8.5, 5.25" BS, 245/40R20
Rear: 20x10, 5.5" BS, 315/35R20

I'd like to go wider in the front. 315 looks to be as wide as I can go in the back without tubs. I don't have any good pictures of it to show it, but it seems to stand pretty square, not leaning side to side.
