Truck Trim locations

Per request, here are some scans from the assembly manual showing the measurements for the placement of the upper and lower side trim for the fleetside (or wide bed) pickups.

Re: Truck Trim locations

Has anyone ever figured how to locate the reference lines that the measurements are taken from? I can't find anything that refers to this in the assembly manual.

That was my question as well - without the reference the measurements don't do a ton of good

Re: Truck Trim locations

Yeah,I overlooked that or just assumed certain things when I was looking up the drawings for others. It has been a while since my engineering classes, but assembly is based off of a 1 inch grid of the cab. I'd have to go measure mine for sure but line 30 would be 30" up from the assembly line floor. Looking at this cab grid, that would make it 25 inches up from the bottom of the lower body line of the rocker.
