Re: Survivor 1987 V30 Silverado SRW 454/400
Getting some run time outside the shop yesterday. Had to rearrange some trucks. The battery was dead on the 92 or it would have been out for the picture as well.

Re: Survivor 1987 V30 Silverado SRW 454/400
Trying to decided on a wheel and tire combo that I really like. Right now I have basically two options, 1.) return the truck back to stock. I have purchased all new components including leaf springs, shackles, shocks and all associated hardware. I would put the truck back on 265/75r16s on 16x7 wheels. 2.) Leave the truck lifted 2.5” but run 295/75/16 that are in this picture.

Re: Survivor 1987 V30 Silverado SRW 454/400
I'd vote for option 1. I've always been pretty darn partial to factory stock trucks... especially 3/4 and 1-ton 4x4's.
Either way, what you're doing doesn't involve cutting/welding/modifying OEM components, so if you decide one way and then change your mind, it can always be swapped back! |

Re: Survivor 1987 V30 Silverado SRW 454/400
I finally decided to take the truck back to stock suspension. I think it does the truck justice. I’m not ruling out putting the lift back on but it don’t think it will be anytime soon.
