That site doesn't show all sizes and finishes in the 5x5 pattern.
Kind of hit and miss,... unless his site is not up to date.

Was there any info of offering more BS choices w/these 'revisions'? I scrolled through the BS choices on the BOSS website & 6.00+" BS is the only option on the 20x10's.

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

I was looking at putting 20X10's on back and 18X8's on the front. Is anyone else looking at this set up? Also I was told by a local vendor that the 20X10's would not fit the back of my 86' SWB because of the 6.225" backspace - any thoughts on that - it doesn't seem like anybody is having an issue on here. I do have rear disc brakes if that would make a difference.
I would also be interested in the group buy in the grey.
Thanks

I already have my set of 4.
I was speaking for other people that might be interested.
Also,... I'd want some kind of note or amended part number to know that these are the "new design".
(For you guys with 1.25" rotors up front)

I already cured my "wheel problem" by running the 1" rotors.

These will stick out .225" less than a 15x8 ralley wheel.
(basically 1/4" less)
I think they will be fine.
Your only other choice, is to run a spacer.

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

I think the thing to ask for is a group discount on any Boss wheel's that they offer. Dont try to limit it to one size or one style. I want a very fat wheel like 10" or more with little back space cause Im going ot be running a narrower rear end plus a different bolt pattern.... There will be too many people wanting different sizes. Something like a 33% discount or so if we can get like 10 sets or 20 wheels sold by then end of Jan or so... Just somethink think about or offer......

Yeah, I'm looking for the staggered too. I have a 72 swb....20/8 front, 20/10 rear....but I want the black with polished lip. I'm running a stock rear end, but tubbed the wheel wells toward the center of the bed 1 3/4 inchs. So I'm not really shore on the backspacing for the rear.

Thanks guys for the effort on the group discount.....

For this to work we should all get a quote for the same wheel with different vendors for 1 set and then ask about a bulk purchase, but with different finish back space, etc.etc.etc

the price i was quoted was for 18x8 and 20X10 all with a 5X5 bolt patern

I could actually facilitate this, as I have my resale license in auto parts & accessories. And I use to work for AEW . But, the new design is still not readily available, so I don't want to promise much as of now.

This is really where the core of this thread stands.
If I you are wanting to purchase these wheels,... I would wait.

That sounds like a hella deal. No photo shop, but would love to see it. I have seen that set up on our trucks with different wheels and thought it looked good.

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

looking back to the very beginning of the thread i have been in contact with my vendor. i am a wheel/tire/suspension vendor as well and speaking to my contact and his manager he is still not 100% POSITIVE that they have been fixed... he as well has a early model c10 and is one of the first in line to get the new style. (i have seen his truck) he's not just trying to sell me on them. he hasn't pulled the trigger on them because they are not fixed. he is emailing me tomm. with updates from his manger so we will see but i was told beginning of january MAYBE!

ok guys here is the quote for the vendor i am working with on the wheels.....

"As of right now, we do have all sizes and finishes available in your fitment. Just let me know what you can put together (even if the sizes and finishes are a bit different), and we'll work the price down significantly for you." I am ordering mine today

Wow! I just called and talked to the Manager of the local American Eagle Wheel Warehouse and he said that they are just starting to trickle out and all that is available at this time is chrome. Who does your guy know?

Can anyone verify the BS available? I am interested in 20X8.5 and 20X10 in chrome with 5-5.5bs depending on what's available...
