4 Amp Charging Circuit Fuses

Chevys4Life asked me, via PM, to post some pix of the 4 Amp fuses and holders in the engine bay harness of a '71 Jimmy.
Since the PM format does not work to post pix and jpeg attachments, I'm posting here.
NOTE: These fuses are only present on trucks with the "Deluxe" 7 gauge instrument panel. The Standard 3 gauge panel has related Idiot lights and these fuses are not included in that truck's harness.
For contrast on a bright day, as I was shooting at black objects in a black hole, I used a strip of ''slime green'' gaffer tape as background.
Hope I did not use too much developer...

Re: 4 Amp Charging Circuit Fuses

Those wires provide battery and alternator voltage to the battery gauge to give an indication of charging or discharging. They have nothing to do with charging the battery.

True. What I meant was that they feed the indicator for the charging circuit.

Re: 4 Amp Charging Circuit Fuses

Reading this thread will give a bunch more info on these fuses and what they do.
