Brake line junction block - 1969 4X4 K5 Blazer

Any one know where to source a brass junction block for a 4X4 that goes on the inside of the driver's side inside the frame? The front brake hose goes into it through the frame, and there are two brake lines that go in either side. There is a hollow 5/8 headed bolt that threads into the brake hose. Thanks for any help. Rick

No, it is a junction block on the inside of the frame.

I think there is one on the left and right if I remember correctly. I believe inline tube or LMC would have them.

I have some stuff I took off my 70 4x4 4 wheel drum power brake system. Think it might be in that stuff?

This one is specific to the driver's side. I believe I may have got it to stop seeping. Took it apart again and replaced the copper washers again. Although the hollow bolt threads into the brake hose, the face of the hose end also abuts a washer (banjo fitting). I took a couple of photos. If you have one, hold onto it.

Interesting; is is just a connection point or does it have another purpose? Gonna have to go see if I have one now!

Yup. I got one of them somewhere. I am not using it. It's in a bucket somewhere in the garage.

Re: Brake line junction block - 1969 4X4 K5 Blazer

So to bring this back up my lines do not have a junctuon block where yours is shown at the soft brake line connection. I do have a junction but it is right next to the front crossmember and not bolted to anything. One like shoots back to the driver soft line and one line goes across the crossmember to the passenger soft line. This is how my old lines were and how the new lines hook up. I think this is stock but could be wrong.

Here’s reference I used for my ORD steering support. It shows the junction block just like I have.

His is a 69 so it is probably just the way Chevrolet did the first year. I know the clips for the fuel and brake lines on a 70 are different then a 71 and 72.

You’re probably right. I didn’t think about the spread in years.

Re: Brake line junction block - 1969 4X4 K5 Blazer

My 70 K10 short bed fleet was the same as the 69 Blazer. Can't remember the 71 Blazer but it had front disc brakes (first year for discs) so that was probably the change?
