A few Island trucks!
There’s lots of trucks to look at in here. Plus a lot of older iron.
All the shows are within 100 miles of me. Somewhere to go every weekend! http://www.vihr.ca/2018-show-season/ |

Re: A few Island trucks!
I have gone to Odgen Point a few times...very good Saturday night event.
That venue is right in the middle of the parking lot where the major Cruise ships come in. Its not uncommon to find them unloading people into the port right when all the classic cars/trucks are there so it is a double bonus for the travellers who are mostly U.S folks on their way to Alaska, etc. I've had some great conversations with some guys there from Texas, Arizona, Florida, etc who are glad to have been able to step off the ship and right into a sea of classic cars...lol, which delays their dinner in town a bit. I don't make it all the time maybe once every 3 weeks, but it a nice event....maybe stick around for 45 minutes to an hour to touch base with folks, then cruise out and through the downtown. All good Coley

Re: A few Island trucks!
Nice trucks and it all sounds like good summer fun. That would be so cool to be stuck on a cruise ship/ferry and get dropped off to a classic car scene. I was on vacation in CA back in '03. We were leaving Santa Cruz that morning when everyone got up. I'm always up and out early for a coffee and poke around, as always, and I see the woodies rolling in for the Woodies on the Wharf show I had no idea about. Got to check it all out and leave after lunch. A great surprise addition to my vacation!
