I'm back baby!

Well, my passion is 67-72 GM Truck. I have not had one for over10 years. My last GM restoration was a 57 Chevrolet.
I am back with a real 64Mile all original 1971 GMC survivor from California.
First Question is would my 1971 have a 5x5 bolt pattern for rims or 5x5.5"

Re: I'm back baby!

All 1/2 ton, 2 WD's had the 5X5 pattern till, I believe 1999 or 2000, then they went 6 lug...again.
The 88 and new were metric threaded,

Re: I'm back baby!

OK, so here are some quick bad pics because my garage does not have good lighting. I will post better pics from daylight with door open another day.
Truck has 64K original miles from California. Original vinyl seat, factory tach dash, 350, 4 spd , Zero rust.
Plans are to add BF Goodrich tires to the rallies I just installed, Add all the factory upper/lower trim, Add a factory power brake booster set up (need help on how to do this !), add a blue hounds tooth seat cover. And driver her in the spring baby!!
I painted the Rat Rod Garage signs on the doors because this is the name of my classic truck hobby garage - I always paint this on my hobby trucks that I sell.

Re: I'm back baby!

Will do, the engine bay is as clean as I have ever seen - I have restored 3 others and this is by far the best survivor I have ever seen. I need better lighting in the morning and I will post better pics. I need someone to look at the stock master cylinder to let me know if I can use it for a power booster or what I need to do to convert to power brakes......

Re: I'm back baby!

Here are some daylight pics of the engine bay as requested - i have not touched anything mechanical yet on this truck but it will look much better when I get to it this winter.
