C10 horns

Probably silly questions but here goes. Can you sandblast and powder coat horns? I have the high and low not and they are pretty cruddy looking. Or maybe spray on aircraft remover and repaint? lots of little nooks and crannies on these things. can you soak them soapy water? I know they get wet being underneath the hood but...

I think I would plug the opening before I did anything to them. I wouldn't immerse them completely.

I plugged both my horns with some closed cell foam.
Carefully media blasted them, paint prep cleaner, primer then paint.
