Van camper on back?

I don't know the story, was hoping someone here might know something about this super cool rig!

That's an attractive idea. Took a lot of work, too. I think it would be a bit on the tall & heavy side for me, though. I'd want to give up some headroom to lose about 8" or so, the width of that middle body line. A shorted window would be needed.

I bet the front is teo rear doors welded shut. It appears to be two van back halves.

Well if I was camping up in Cannada that rig looks like it would keep the bears out !

I asked mrs Grumpy if she wanted to go camping in Cannada eh ? and she said " Aren't you worried about the bears ? " Not as long as I can run faster than you honey !
