A little easier to have the lawnmover on a lower truck.

Talking Re: Lets see some 73-87 work horses

My old workhorse....
"1984 Chevy Crew Cab Dually (Western Hauler)"
Was used as a "Cowboy rig / Horse trailer hauler" on a ranch until I picked it up for $500....
Has 454 th400, 4.11 gears right now....
SOON to be a 6.0, 4l80e swap....
Will continue to be a workhorse, as i will be using it as a "TOY HAULER"...
As i will be hauling my '95 Chevy shortbed truck to the track....

Re: Lets see some 73-87 work horses

This old girl spent the bulk of her days carting stones around Scranton, Pennsylvania. Her first owner was a stone mason and he used her pretty hard. Today she is mostly retired, and can be seen cruising around the farm country in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. She still likes a good workout every now and then though, whether it be a load of dirt, stone, firewood or brush, she's always up for the task.

Here's FRANKENTRUCK once again. Hard at work like usual:

Name: FRANKENTRUCK's new duty (Custom).JPG
Views: 1315
Size: 83.8 KB

It now has a good coat of gray primer to preserve it's exterior, so it doesn't look quite as cool,...
Todd.

Building one. Really don't know why... But I'm starting to like it. '86 K30 chassis with '74 cab. Think I should lift it a little? Seems kinda low. Thanks
