Re: Junkyarding in colorado this time.

I haven't had a K/5 for a while, so just what I remember with nothing to go check. But like I said, maybe not all were mounted under the bottom of the dash. Only one that I've had was a CST and I can't recall if maybe those get the speaker under the top of dash like trucks, since the top always came with those. Not sure about the no slots in the top of dash either, but I think there were none on those.

Nice find, for sure. Wish I could find one like that, here in the rust-belt. Fyi, I sent you a PM on another matter. Please take a look. Thanks!

Re: Junkyarding in colorado this time.

Speaking of coming to get trucks, I saw a cool red patina, short step side on a trailer headed north on I35 a couple of Saturday's ago. Was that headed to Grand Rapids too?

Nope, that one must have slipped by somehow.

Re: Junkyarding in colorado this time.

Would you have any interest in selling your tow hooks?
I am willing to pay market price for them.
I have a 72 GMC short box 4x4. I owned the truck for fifteen years and stupidly sold the truck about a year and a half ago.
Luckily I was able to buy the truck back about a month ago. PO removed and sold the extreme bend hooks off the truck and I am trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Let me know.
Thanks

Re: Junkyarding in colorado this time.

There is a guy making and selling them on ebay now. If I had a stock bumper I'd definitely get a pair for the cost.

These are not the extreme bend hooks. Not even sure what fair market value is on these anymore. Not cheap I know...
