Early take off tailgate

I've been looking at some, but figured it would be good to get a few opinions. Has NO dents and is not bowed, is has a little light surface rust but I will clean up all the dirt and such before posting for sale. Only issue it has is a small spot by the O that got pushed in a little, not hit or anything it almost looks like something small and heavy get set in it while in storage. I think it could easily be pulled my a painless dent person. The back has a few scraped and scratches but no dents. It has no trim holes and It is a 71 tailgate and still has the orignal disk break sticker. I was thinking $500 range but WIW?

Re: Early take off tailgate

i think you're in the ball park, but because the ding by the O and the surface rust i would say more like $350-400. if that surface rust buffs completely out i think you're on target.
