blazerslave - I'm just up the road from you - In fact, I work in Bellevue just off Northup. When do you get your rig back from paint?

Here's the thing . . . it's being painted outside of San Diego at a friend's shop. I probably won't be bringing it up to WA until spring. My buddy is going to restore my top and I don't know how long that'll take! I REALLY miss driving her too.

Have you posted a picture of you rig?

Hey blazerslave, what's the info for your friends shop outside of San Diego? I'm in San Diego and I've been looking for a shop that can do the paint, body and top work on my Blazer.

My man is Steve Feher. Steve's Body Works in San Marcos. A really cool guy with an excellent eye for detail. He's the kind of guy who does things right.
PM me if you want his info.

Anybody making a trip close to where you live up towards iowa/MN? I would drop $250 on that in a second if I could get it transported here reasonably cheaply. Right now I settled on an '83 K5 because I couldn't get the '71 CST Blazer that I had my heart set on.
