Auto body shop recommendations in the Mesa, Arizona area

Hey I finally escaped winter on the Canadian prairies and made it down to Arizona.

One of the fellows down here in the RV Park is looking to get a nice 72 chev pickup painted while he is down here. He is from the Yukon!

Any recommendations from local forum members on a good body shop in the Mesa, Arizona area. I suppose that could include Apache Junction, Gilbert or any other neighbouring city!

By the way I would not mind visiting with a forum member or two while I am down here and see what they are working on if anybody is interested.

I am east of Apache Junction and will be here until Jan 17 then we are flying off to SE Asia for a few weeks but then plan on being around till sometime in March.

hey 56hotrodred,
i hope this is not too late. as far as shops in Mesa go i have great experience with "harvil's autobody in mesa. they are very honest & trust worthy, i just am not sure if they will do the "older" vehicles. another shop is elite automotive finishes. i have not had any personal work done by them, but have had a few friends go there with very good results. obviously prices will differ related to the amount of work, those are the only ones that i can recommend.....

No it's not too late. I think he wants to drive it as much as possible over the next couple of months while he is down here and then leave it down here and get the body work and paint done over the summer when he is home.

Actually sounds like he is going to leave it down here after as well.

I will let him know your recommendations when I see him next.
