What's the difference? K5 & K10

What's the difference? K5 & K10
I saw a 4x2 K5 at the junkyard this weekend. I though K5's were 4x4's - BTW: nice fender emblems if anyone needs them I could go back.

on trucks, K=4x4 and C=4x2

on blazers, K=4x4 and 4x2

also, the /5 means blazer, /10 (and up) means truck

I agree with 1969 GMC. K10 is 1/2 ton 4x4 truck k20 3/4 ton 4x4 truck, K5 Blazer.
This is how I know it to be..Might be something about yours I don't know about, or not aware of. I am sure someone here can shed some light on the title for that blazer.

it's probably just an error on the title, it should say somewhere on the truck K5 blazer (an emblem), if they are missing then the option sheet might say, and you could always look at the owners manual too if you have it. I am no expert on blazers, but i have never ever heard of a k10 blazer before.

K/5 is just a name on the fender emblem, it is not a model code like K10, K20, or K30. K/5 was used on both 2 and 4 wheel drive Blazers. A Blazer is a short wheelbase K10 model (1/2 ton truck) with a utility body.
