Where's the door brace?
Where is the extra plate (or brace) on the blazer door? I've got a goodmark door and I'm not sure if I need to transfer the old plate onto the new door. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

From what I understand you do have to transfer the plate over.. On my blazer I have a blazer door on one side and a cut down truck door on the other and it seems the truck door is holding up better in the area. I think that when I put on both the new truck door I ma not gonna transfer over the plates.. JMO..

It encompasses the door latch on the outside edge of the door, it is spot welded on.
