tbi to carb conversion

Hey guys I just picked up a 95 tbi 350 out of a Tahoe. was wondering what I have to do to swap it to carb. its going in the 69 c30. Which fuel pump should I use if there isn't a hole in the block.

Re: tbi to carb conversion

Yo9u'll need a aftermarket intake manifold for the '87-'95 TBI heads to accept a carburetor. A standard HEI distributor, an electric fuel pump and possibly a fuel pressure regulator.

Re: tbi to carb conversion

The tank has nothing to do with a fuel pump for a carb'd engine. All you need is a basic inline electric fuel pump that produces 4-7psi. You do not need an expensive performance fuel pump. Something like the Holley Mighty Mite will work just fine. And electric fuel pumps are designed to push. So you will want to mount it under the cab below the fuel tank
