Add hand throttle?

I'm tall. 6'7". 36" inseam. That means when driving the truck at cruise speed, my right leg/ankle is forced into a "Z" shape that kills my ankle while I have to hold the pedal. I'd like to add the hand throttle that was found on the bigger trucks. Yes, I'm fully aware that driving with this is not what it is for and could be dangerous. So is driving an old truck with no airbags, no ABS, no traction control, no power steering, no power brakes, and a three on the tree, lol. One more thing to add to the dance will be no problem.

Anyone have any info on install? Parts sources? Should I just re-purpose a complete choke cable/handle?

Here is a shot of how the linkage connects to the carb. I can handle making the bracket.
