fuel cell mounting questions

i just got my 16 gal fuel cell from summit and am going to put it in this weekend . my question is it has a sump on the bottom where the gas line comes out and i was wondering if that has to face the rear of the truck or could i have the line coming out facing the cab? i know that when accelerating gas would be pushed to the rear but would it make that big of a difference? just wondering , any opionions ?

Re: fuel cell mounting questions

I'd think there'd be baffles to prevent any ill effects from sloshing around.

Re: fuel cell mounting questions

Some have foam chunks in them. The sump was for the racers so on acceleration that last bit of fuel would be there. For a driver it should not makea difference.
