Project Nephew--71 4x4

New project! My nephew, Austin, decided he wanted to build an old truck. I found a 1971 c-10 4x4 longbed stepside with a 350 and 4 speed.
He finally got to drive it today and do a little work. We took the seat out and cleaned out the interior.

We put a seat cover on the old seat, but will eventually get a another seat. I also change out the steering wheel. I had one in a little better shape than the original, but it too will get changed out eventually.

I just got him registered on the site and he will start posting as soon as his account is activated. I'm sure he will have lots of questions. He will turn 15 in March, so we have a year to build him a great truck! You guys go easy on him!

Here are some pictures. One of them has a little surprise!!!!!!!

Died there! We could only get about half of it out.
Not much else has been done with the truck. He has been too busy with basketball and now rodeo season is starting.
