Re: Painless Wiring my ASS

Unhook the Alt, sounds like you may have a diode back feeding or a voltage reg problem. Other than tail lights the brakes run through the signal switch, signal switch and flasher relay. With a meter or test light see if you have power at brake switch, then check firewall connection,If no then the signal switch is giving you trouble. Make sure everything is good and grounded.

Re: Painless Wiring my ASS

I've used two of their harnesses with no problems. They had excellent customer service a couple years ago.

I've used them with excellent results in the past.

I've got their kit on my '69, everything works fine - maybe call them up Monday and give them a chance to help you

Re: Painless Wiring my ASS

I am re doing my electrical from the info available on this site and recommendations along the way.

So far, I have learned a ton. Now if something fails I can diagnose it quicker, find other problems before they start, help and point others in the right direction.

I figure this site is for HOT RODDERS, guys who back yard something the right way. I have about 100 bucks in my electrical system and so far have some pretty white lights.

Now for that consumptive HEI...
