Howdy--new '69 owner
Howdy. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi.
I am about to purchase a 1969 GMC Camper Special 3/4 ton. As this is my first vintage truck, I definitely have some questions about it. While I clearly don't need another project or spend anymore money, the truck's price was too good to pass up. It'll be nice to finally have a pickup to haul parts around. Plus, I believe it has the 396/310HP engine in it, so it should have some nice power. I've restored and owned several vintage cars including a '70 Plymouth Sport Fury and a '68 Pontiac Lemans. I'm currently working on a '68 Olds 442 and about to start on my '69 Camaro. I'm seemingly having more trouble finding information about the truck than I have on any of my cars, but this might be due to not looking in the right spot. Thanks for having me on the boards and I'll post my questions in the appropriate area. |
