Somethin followed me home today

Today while workin I stopped at a house that had a pretty clean old 71 c10 in the driveway. He said he was hanging onto it but that he had a few trucks parked around back so I asked to see what he had. We walked around behind his shed and there he had two longbed 71's and a 79 shortbed. I asked a lil about the 79 and he said he'd picked it up from his uncle the year prior and didn't really use it anymore. He said he was selling the house and wanted to clean the place up. He shot me a price that was beyond fair so I shook his hand, grabbed the money, and parked my tacoma in his driveway and drove home in the c10 lol. He told me I could come back for my tacoma the next day. The 79 is just I6 250 automatic so it's no hotrod but I had a blast driving it home. Felt good to be in a c10 again.

Ya it's a good runner, gutless but it runs good. I think it'll be a perfect LS swap, I also have a couple small blocks laying around but I'd think the 5.3 4l60e I have would make this a cool lil truck. I'll leave the paint/exterior as is, just polish it up.

I agree, I love the lil 6's. If this weren't an automatic I'd prob leave it alone but the auto trans kills it
