Yea i found how many 4x4's were made, around 86,000. But no luck on 2wd's. I've heard they are kind of rare. I have one and got big plans, just curious about how many are out there.

I have no production numbers, but I wouldn't call them "Rare". The 2wd Blazer with the lowest production numbers was 1982 as it was the last year and did not get a full production run. Even with that, they aren't considered rare.

Now if you find an 83 2wd, you have a rare one...

Word, thanks for the info. Only reason i say rare is because either you find a rust bucket, or a price your not willing to pay. I do know that there are a lot more 4wd's than 2.

Rare or not doesn't make them more or less desirable. You have one, and it is desirable....
